Climate
The temperature varies in the different regions. Overall, the average  October – March is 20º C - 30º C and April - September 31º C - 45º C. The Dhofar region (Salalah) has a subtropical climate between October -  May with average temperatures of 30º C. But from June to September this region is exposed to the southeast monsoon that results in a lush green climate with temperatures around 23º C. Oman has 360 days of sun per year.

Documentation
A valid passport is required for entry into Oman. Tourist visas can be obtained upon arrival.

Dress
Oman is a Muslim country thus it is important to observe a certain dress code. In public places, women should wear garments that cover their upper arms and legs. They should not appear in public dressed in shorts, tight trousers, bare-backed or low-cut dresses. Men should wear long trousers and shirts. Shorts and sun tops should only be worn at the beach or by the pool.

When visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque please ensure that you do not wear any sheer fabrics, transparent or tight clothes or white trousers. All trousers have to be long and sleeves should reach to the wrists. Women are required to wear a head scarf and cover their décolleté.

When swimming in public places such as beaches and wadis, please wear T-shirt and shorts; this applies for women and men.

We recommend that you wear loose comfortable clothing as it will be warm. Comfortable foot wear for walking is advisable. Desert visitors should have caps, sunscreen (sunscreen is recommended all over the countries as well especially in the hot weather).

Currency
The local currency is the Omani Rial (OMR) and there are 1000 Baizas (Bz) to 1 OMR. Omani Rials can be bought at major airports or upon arrival at Muscat International Airport. There are ATMs throughout the Omani cities. Credit cards are readily accepted.

220 - 250 V, 50 Hz, British type plug (three rectangular holes) or the European type (two round holes)

Deposit and Payment Policy:
• A deposit of $500 per person, per country booked is required
upon booking the tour.
• Final payment is due sixty days prior to departure.
• If booking within 21 days of travel, an additional fee of $75 per person will apply.
• A change fee of $50 per person will apply to any changes made by the traveler after confirmation has been sent.

Cancellations & Refunds:
Transportation, lodging, meals, entertainment and other services are sold on a partially refundable basis depending upon the date, in relation
to the departure date, such services are cancelled. The cancellation fees and calculations are set forth below:

• 61 days or more prior to departure, a service fee of $100 per person, per country will apply.
• If a tour is cancelled 60 days or less from departure date and full payment has not been received in our office, the deposit will then be forfeited in full.
• Once full payment has been received, any refund made will be subject to a $75 per person administration fee.
• 59 to 30 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 50% of the tour cost will apply.
• 29 to 15 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 75% of the tour cost will apply.
• 14 days or less prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour cost will apply.
• No refund will apply to any unused services including but not limited to flights, accommodations, touring, meals and/or transportation.
