|Upon arrival in Dubai, you will be met by a Ya’lla Tours USA representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Dubai is a city of ages that rises out of the desert and crowns the gulf coast with its presence, a melting pot of traditional culture and modernism. Your tour will take you on a journey through the old and new Dubai. First, stroll through the spice market, fish, fruit & vegetable market and the Gold Souk. Continue to the Bastakia area to view the traditional wind towers and the old Fahidi Fort, which is the Dubai History Museum today. Experience the traditional way of commuting over the creek by Abra (water taxi) to discover the new, modern Dubai.
We’ll stop for photos of Burj Al Arab Hotel, which is known as one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Then take a drive around the man-made Palm Jumeirah island and end with a photo-stop at the Atlantis Hotel.
Next, we’ll drive to the world’s tallest tower Burj Khalifah. Take the At The Top tour, a multi-media presentation on the history of Dubai as well as the story of this incredible building. You’ll begin in the reception area and end on the observation deck on the 124th floor.
Then watch a performance of the Dubai Fountain, the world’s largest dancing fountain.
||Drive 2 hours to Abu Dhabi for a tour of another great city of the UAE. First, visit the Falcon Hospital* for some insight into the tradition of falconry and the care of falcons, a deeply revered symbol of the UAE. (This is a group tour with a Falcon Hospital guide.)
In the examination room, observe routine procedures such as feather repair, or pedicure. Meet a falcon or two and have your picture taken with one perched on your arm.
Continue to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, considered the greatest architectural treasure of contemporary UAE society - and one of the most beautiful mosques in the world - initiated no less by the late president HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who is fondly thought of as the father of the UAE.
Next, we’ll drive along the corniche road and make a photo stop at the iconic Emirates Palace Hotel.
After time for lunch on your own, we will visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. In 2007, France and Abu Dhabi came together to open the Louvre Abu Dhabi to represent the dynamic nature of the contemporary Arab world. The museum is designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, inspired by Abu Dhabi’s location between land and sea, as well as its traditional Arab architecture. Your ticket will allow you to visit the galleries, the exhibitions, the children museums and the public spaces under the dome.
Return to your hotel in Dubai for overnight.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
Itinerary sequence may change on weekends (Fri, Sat).
*the Falcon Hospital is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
