The average group size is 15 to 40 passengers, with a range of ages, interests and nationalities (the tour is conducted in English). Touring in the Old City involves a good deal of walking. It&#8217;s a very compact area, less than 1 square kilometer, so the distances are not great, but it is often quite crowded and moving from place to place is slow. This is an area of rolling, green hills, dense with biblical history.<\/p>\n<p>Some tour highlights in the Galilee are the Roman Decapolis city of Beth Shean; Tiberias and Safed, both important centers of Jewish learning; Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus; and the Bahai Shrine and Persian Gardens on Mt.
