	Ultimate Jordan 7 Nights / 8 Days 2 nights in Amman, 2 nights in Petra, 3 nights at the Dead Sea Arrive Amman any day DAY 01 - AMMAN Upon arrival at Amman Queen Alia Airport, you will be met by a Ya'lla Tours USA representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight. DAY 02 - AMMAN You will be met by your private guide to start your tour. Tour the beautiful Roman theater of Amman, the citadel, the Archaeology Museum, and the Folklore Museum. Then, drive north to Jerash, city of the Decapolis. Located in the fertile heights of Gilead, Jerash is one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities left to us. Stroll the stately colonnaded streets past the theater, the baths, the hill top temple and the triumphal arch. Return to Amman for overnight.

	DAY 03 - PETRA Drive to the holy city of Madaba, well known for its outstanding Byzantine mosaics. Visit St. George's Cathedral which houses the earliest surviving map of the Holyland, in a mosaic floor dating to 560 A.D. Then on to Mt. Nebo, reputed to be the site of the tomb of Moses. Visit an ancient church located atop the hill overlooking the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. The church is run by the Franciscan monks in the area and also houses magnificent mosaics dating back to the 6th century. Drive through the magnificent scenery of Wadi Mujib to the walled crusader town of Kerak. Continue to Petra for overnight. DAY 04 - PETRA This morning we will tour the city of Petra. Lost to the world for centuries in the mountains of southern Jordan, this "rose-red city, half as old as time," was discovered by the Swiss explorer Burkhardt in 1812. Once it was a stronghold and capital of the Nabateans, but fell to Rome in 106 AD. Travel part of the way on horseback and the rest on foot through the deep and narrow passages carved millions of years ago by erosion. The Treasury finally appears magnificently in front of you, an awesome start to an unforgettable experience. Now we begin our exploration of what both the Nabateans and Romans left for us to witness. The most adventurous will be invited to hike up to the spiritual "High Place," site of the sacrificial altar, with spectacular views of the ancient city and surroundings. Return to your hotel for overnight. DAY 05 - DEAD SEA Drive to Wadi Rum. Take a short 4 X 4 vehicle ride into the desert with its awesome moon-like landscape, crisscrossed with countless valleys of stunning beauty. The film Lawrence of Arabia was shot here. Continue to the Dead Sea for overnight. DAY 06 - DEAD SEA Visit "Bethany Beyond the Jordan," to see the excavations of the baptism site of Jesus and the site from which Elijah ascended to heaven in a chariot of fire. Return to your Dead Sea hotel for the balance of the day at leisure. DAY 07 - DEAD SEA Today is at your leisure.

	DAY 08 - You will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight.
