This Jordan tour is guaranteed to operate with a minimum of 2 passengers.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem (time to be advised) and transferred to either the Allenby or Sheikh Hussein border crossing.

After border crossing procedures,
drive to Jerash - city of the Decapolis, located about 45km north of Amman in the fertile heights of the Gilad. Visit the ancient Roman city with colonnaded streets, the baths, the hill-top temple, etc. Then drive to Amman for a city tour of the Jordanian capital. Overnight in Amman.

After an early breakfast, leave the hotel and travel south to Wadi Musa. Travel on horseback to the siq (canyon) and then continue on foot through the siq to Petra. Known as Sela Edom or Red Rock City, Petra was the capital of the Nabateans from 3rd century BCE to the 2nd Century CE. Just some of the sites you’ll see as you walk through the ancient city are the famous Treasury (actually a tomb of a Nabatean king), the field of tombs, obelisks, and the Altar, located at a high point from which you can view the whole of the rock city. Return to Wadi Musa village for overnight.

Drive south to the towering mountains and rock formations of Wadi Rum. Take a 4-wheel drive safari into the wadi, with stops at Lawrence Spring and Khazali Canyon. Then head back north to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic floor map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, the site from which Moses viewed the Promised Land. Continue to Amman for overnight.

After breakfast, drive to the border and on to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
