	Israel Heritage Tour 7 Nights / 8 Days 1 night in Tel Aviv 2 nights in Tiberias 4 nights in Jerusalem Arrive Israel any Thursday THURSDAY - TEL AVIV Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, you will be met by Ya'lla Tours USA's representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight. FRIDAY - TIBERIAS Drive to Jaffa (Joppa) and take a short walking tour in the picturesque alleys of the old, fortified town. Pass the house of Simon the Tanner and enjoy the hilltop view. Then drive north along the coast to the ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caesar. Continue to Megiddo, a site inhabited continuously for over five millennia. This is the site called Armageddon in the Book of Revelation. Drive on to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee for overnight. SATURDAY - TIBERIAS Drive along the lake to Capernaum, the center of Jesus' ministry. Tabgha, just north of Tiberias, is the site of the miracle of the 5,000. At the Church of the Multiplication, the mosaic floor depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes. Drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the sea, where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Continue up to the Golan Heights for a panoramic view of Mt. Hermon, the rugged platuea and the green Huleh Valley. Return to Tiberias for overnight.

	SUNDAY - JERUSALEM Visit Cana and the Church of the Wedding, where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. Proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where the archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. Also see Mary's well and Joseph's Church. Continue through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater. Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman city. Drive on to Jerusalem for overnight. MONDAY - JERUSALEM Depart for Masada via Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beersheba (a short visit to the Negev capital) and Arad. At Masada, take the cable car to the top of the fortress and visit the Roman palaces, store houses, synagogues and bath house which witnessed the Jewish resistance to the Romans approximately 2000 years ago. Descend by cable car and proceed to the Dead Sea for a float in the water. Drive up into the Judean Hills and the most beautiful city in the world, Jerusalem, for overnight. TUESDAY - JERUSALEM Drive to Mount Scopus for a sweeping view of Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives. In the Old City, visit the Western Wall, the site of the Second Temple. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Then visit the tomb of King David and the Last Supper Room on Mount Zion. WEDNESDAY - JERUSALEM Tour Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Then drive to Ein Karem, a picturesque village on the outskirts of Jerusalem and the traditional birthplace of John the Baptist. Visit the Israel Museum with a detailed, scale model of ancient Jerusalem. Then visit the Shrine of the Book which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Pending security clearance, continue to Bethlehem to visit Rachel's Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem for overnight. THURSDAY - You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
